ROBERTO APARICIO MORENO. Born in México City, October 5, 1971, Admitted on 1995. JD Degree by Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Postgraduate studies on International Commercial Arbitration by the Escuela Libre de Derecho, along with the International Chamber of Commerce. Member of the Asociación Nacional de Abogados de Empresa, A.C. (ANADE), US Mexico Bar Association, American Bar Association and the Quintana Roo Bar Association. Former member of the Institute of Transnational Arbitration of The Center of American and International Law. Former member of the Legal Committee of ABN AMRO BANK (México), S.A. Former associate with Santamarina y Steta, S.C. and Baker & McKenzie-Cancun Office and partner of Martinez Rodriguez y Asociados, S.C. Mr. Aparicio is currently Partner of our Firm since 2005. Formerly Secretary of the Board of Citizen Participation of the State Attorney’s Office, Law Professor of Universidad Anahuac Cancun and member of the American Football Council of said University.
Mr. Aparicio has been involved in the most relevant conflicts in the touristic area of Cancun and the Riviera Maya, in civil, commercial, and environmental matters. During his practice he has participated in several manners in arbitration proceedings, representing his clients in the arbitration proceeding and in the execution of precautionary measures, whether issued by the arbitral tribunal itself or prior to the initiation of the arbitration. Likewise, he has been involved in several proceedings to enforce arbitration awards. Most of the interventions in arbitration matters have been related to infrastructure projects, construction and hotel operation.

Former officer of the Ministry of Labor in the Administrative Office for the Labor Agreement of NAFTA. Former Officer of the Social Security Institute participating as legal advisor of the Financial Office and as counsel for the World Bank for the Health Sector Reform in Mexico. Legal Counsel of Foreign Affairs Office in the same Institute. Since 2005 founding partner of Aparicio y Diaz, Abogados, S.C.
FRANCISCO SANTOS CORDOVA . Born in Cancun, Quintana Roo, on December 14, 1981, Admitted on 2007. JD Degree by Anahuac University Cancun, Posgraduate Studies obtaining a mater in law and law doctorate by the Centro de Estudios de Posgrado in Mexico City. Several postgraduate Studies in the New Criminal Legal System in Oral Trial, Human Rights, Economic and Corporate Crimes, Compliance under the Criminal law perspective, with some academic institutions, including the Salamanca University in Spain. Currently in the doctorate process with Anahuac University Cancun and teh law Professor with said intitution. In charge of the criminal practice area for Aparicio y Diaz, S.C. since 2015.

ANA KARINA BOHÓRQUEZ MÉNDEZ. Born in Mexico City, admitted in 2003 from the Universidad Tecnológica de México; Master’s degree in Constitutional law. She is Of-Counsel for the Firm, her practice is devoted to constitutional litigation.
Ms. Bohoórquez has worked in the public administration and since 2003 she started her judicial career in several Federal Courts, taking care of criminal, agrarian, urban, environmental, civil and family law, as well as matters related to children, health, equality, social security, non-discrimination and original people´s rights as well as tax law, bureaucracy law, procedural aspects in civil and constitutional matters in general.
